A respectful restoration, created with care

Corte Averaldo is a fully restored 16th-century apartment in the historic centre of Portese, San Felice del Benaco — one of the most charming villages on the western shore of Lake Garda.

The renovation was carried out with deep respect for the building's original identity. Our goal was never simply to modernise the interiors, but to recover as much of the home's authentic character as possible — bringing back to light original materials, traditional surfaces, and centuries-old building techniques.

Much of the work was done by us personally, creating a close, almost handcrafted relationship with the house that you can sense in every room. The colours, furnishings, and finishes were all chosen to feel warm and harmonious — welcoming from the very first moment, without ever losing the dialogue with the building's history.

The result is a unique holiday apartment on Lake Garda: a home that preserves the charm of its origins, while offering an intimate, thoughtful, and deeply relaxing stay.
